CURRICULUM

What You Will Learn

01

Site Reading & Ecological Assessment

How to read a landscape before touching it — water, slope, soil, access, microclimate, and existing vegetation.

02

Water First — Keyline & Watershed Design

Designing all water movement before any other element is placed. Ponds, swales, contours, and how to think through the full water cycle on a site.

03

Soil Biology & Fertility Systems

Living soil, biological inputs, no-dig principles, composting systems, and the transition away from chemical dependency.

04

Food Forests & Perennial Systems

Multi-strata planting design — species selection, guild design, succession planting, and how to manage a food forest over time.

05

Market Gardens & Annual Production

No-dig bed design, crop planning, succession planting, and building a productive annual system that can supply a household or small market.

06

Enterprise Planning & Farm Economics

What makes a regenerative farm viable — enterprise selection, phasing, budgets, and realistic timelines for reaching commercial production.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS SAY

I left with a 5-year plan for my farm in Himachal. Nishant does not teach theory — he teaches you to read the landscape. That is a different thing entirely.

Rahul Verma

Workshop Participant · Himachal Pradesh

The most grounded learning experience I have had. Being on a real working farm made everything tangible in a way that no classroom could replicate.
