MODEL FARM & BIO-RESOURCE CENTRE
Anityatva Kumaon Hub, Almora
WHAT IS IT
Anityatva's own 5-acre working farm in the Himalayan foothills — where ideas are tested before they are recommended to clients. The Hub integrates no-dig market gardens, food forests, Himalayan agroforestry, off-grid systems, and fermentation research. It is a model farm, a bio-resource centre, and a learning hub in the making.
WHY IT EXISTS
Good recommendations require lived practice. The Kumaon Hub is the continuation of a methodology that Anityatva's founders first developed on their own farms in Delhi — taken now into Himalayan terrain, with the full complexity of altitude, seasonality, and slope that entails. Everything we propose to clients has already been tested here, in real seasons, by the people running them.
